What consumer research costs here.
Consumer research pricing, in full. Every price on this page includes the respondents, the quality control, the analysis and the finished report.
Nothing gets quoted separately afterwards.
Usually ordered when: you need full clarity on consumer research costs upfront — respondents, analysis, and report included with no scoping calls, no hidden fees, and no procurement delays.
What consumer research pricing buys you, every time.
Consumer research pricing is hard to compare because suppliers include different things. Here is what sits inside every study, at every price on this page.

Six decisions, six fixed prices.
Six questions come up often enough that the study is already built — which is what makes consumer research pricing fixed on these six.
Concept Testing
Will the idea work, before we spend?
Brand Lift
Will the finished ad move anything?
Campaign Recall
Did the campaign that ran actually work?
Brand Tracking
Where does the brand stand, wave over wave?
Audience Profiling
Who are we actually talking to?
Usage & Attitudes
How does the category actually work?
| Study | The decision it answers | Price | Min. sample | Delivery |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Concept Testing | Will the idea work, before we spend? | $1,490 | 150 | 24–72 hours |
| Brand Lift | Will the finished ad move anything? | $2,790 | 300 (150 exposed / 150 control) | 24 hours – 5 days |
| Campaign Recall | Did the campaign that ran actually work? | $2,790 | 300 | 24–72 hours |
| Brand Tracking | Where does the brand stand, wave over wave? | $3,990 | 300 per wave | 24–72 hours |
| Audience Profiling | Who are we actually talking to? | $2,990 | 300, custom audience | 24–72 hours |
| Usage & Attitudes | How does the category actually work? | $3,990 | 300 category users | 24–72 hours |
One market per study, except Usage & Attitudes, which can cover several in a single order. Brand Tracking is priced per wave and can run as a one-off or on a cadence. Audiences with an incidence rate under 30% are quoted individually.
Your own questions, or we run the whole thing.
Consumer research pricing works differently across these three routes.
Standard Studies
Pre-built frameworks for six standard decisions. Fixed price, fixed turnaround, zero survey design required.
Your own questions
You write the questions, we supply everything else. Priced per respondent, so the scope sets the price.
Full service
One dedicated analyst owns it from brief to walkthrough. Priced individually and itemised, never a flat rate that doesn't fit.
Four things move consumer research pricing.
Standard Studies are fixed. When you write your own questions, the price is built from four variables, and it updates as you change any of them, so you see the trade-offs while you are making them rather than after a quote comes back.
How many people
Sample size. The minimum for what you have specified is shown as you build the order, so you can't accidentally under-order.
How hard to reach
An audience that is easy to find in one market can be low-incidence in another. That changes both price and timing.
Survey length
Longer questionnaires cost more and take longer. Response quality drops on very long ones, and we will say so.
How many markets
Each market is priced and sized separately, using the same questionnaire so the results stay comparable.
Why consumer research pricing works this way here.
The eight-to-twelve-week timeline at a traditional research firm was never fieldwork. Fieldwork takes days.
The rest was scoping calls, written proposals and the revision rounds after them, procurement and purchase-order cycles, a questionnaire drafted from a blank page every time, fieldwork coordinated by email between three parties, data cleaned by hand in spreadsheets, cross-tabs built one at a time, charts produced manually and re-produced when a number changed, and deck assembly.
None of that is thinking. All of it is automated here, and that is what the price reflects.
What stays: the analysis frameworks designed by research analysts, the human review of the questionnaire before it fields, the human review of the sample and audience definition, and an analyst sign-off on the finished report.
Consumer research pricing against the alternatives.
| Factor | Traditional firms | Survey tools | Standard Insights |
|---|---|---|---|
| Entry price | $40,000+ | $50–$500 | From $990 |
| Delivery time | 8–12 weeks | Days, plus your own analysis time | 24–72 hours |
| Output | 80-page PDF | Raw data | Complete, decision-ready report |
| Who finds respondents | They do | You do | We do — 170M+ across 130+ markets |
| Who builds the report | Their analysts | You | We do, reviewed by an analyst |
| Procurement step | Required | None | None |
Priced at the point of ordering.
Each of these is optional, and you see what it costs before you add it.
Strategic Roadmap
A costed, sequenced commercial plan written by a strategist from your data, with a video walkthrough. What to do, who signs it off, in what order, and what would change the recommendation. Available on any study.
Hands-on questionnaire help
Guidance while you build your own survey is included. If you want someone to sit down and write it with you, that is an add-on.
Brand Tracking extras
Unaided awareness, additional competitors beyond the standard five, extra attitude statements, and prospective consumers — a dedicated read on people who don't use your category at all.
Extra markets and sample
More markets, or a larger sample so segment cuts hold up. Both recalculate live as you set them.
What consumer research pricing here doesn't cover.
Fast structured research answers a lot of questions well. It does not answer all of them, and pretending otherwise would cost you more than it costs us.
- Audiences with an incidence rate under 30%. Reachable, but not on standard pricing or timing. Worth a conversation first.
- Deep emotional exploration. Why somebody feels the way they do, uncovered over an hour of conversation. That needs a moderator and a qualitative design — available through full service.
- Observational research. Watching what people do in a store or at home. Survey research captures what people report, which is not always the same thing.
- Following the same individuals over time. We track a market's movement wave over wave. We don't follow individuals.
- A study design that doesn't exist yet. If the question needs a method built for it, that is a scoped project rather than an order.
Consumer research pricing questions, answered.
How much does consumer research cost?
Standard Studies run from $1,490 to $3,990 depending on the decision: concept testing at $1,490, brand lift and campaign recall at $2,790, audience profiling at $2,990, and brand tracking and category studies at $3,990. Writing your own questions starts at $990, priced per respondent. Full-service projects and annual programmes are scoped and itemised individually. Every price includes the respondents, the quality control, the analysis and the finished report.
Are there hidden costs in your consumer research pricing?
No. Panel costs calculate live while you configure the study, so the price you see before you commit is the price you pay. Add-ons are optional and priced before you add them. There is no setup fee, no analysis fee and no charge for exports.
Do I pay per respondent or per study?
Standard Studies are a fixed price per study, with the sample size already set for the margin of error the conclusions need. Custom studies are priced per respondent, so the sample size you choose drives the cost.
What happens if quality control removes respondents?
You get the sample you ordered. Order 300 and you receive 300 clean responses, however many were removed to get there. Replenishment is on us, and it does not change the price.
Is there a subscription or a minimum commitment?
No. Every study is a one-off purchase with nothing to renew and nothing that expires. Brand tracking can run on a cadence if you want trend lines, but a single wave is a complete study in its own right. Ongoing programmes exist for teams who want them, and they are scoped rather than sold as a tier.
Do prices differ by market?
Standard Study prices are the same across 130+ markets. Custom studies vary, because an audience that is easy to reach in one country can be low-incidence in another. That difference is shown at the point of ordering rather than discovered once fieldwork has started.
How do I pay?
Online, at the point of ordering. There is no procurement step, no purchase order cycle and no quote to wait for on a Standard Study or a custom one. Full-service projects and annual programmes are invoiced against an approved scope.
What if none of the studies fit my question?
Write your own questions from $990, or tell us what you are trying to decide and we will scope it. If a Standard Study would answer it faster and cheaper, we will say so rather than sell you the larger thing.
See the price before you commit to anything.
Pick a study, set your audience, and the cost calculates as you go. The report is back in 24 to 72 hours.
