Participation: By participating in our survey, you agree to provide honest and accurate responses to the questions asked. Each person can participate only once in any of our surveys.
Eligibility: Our survey is open to individuals who are at least 18 years old and reside in the country where the survey is being conducted. Employees and family members of our organization are not eligible to participate.
Lucky draw: All eligible participants who complete the survey will be entered into a lucky draw to win various gifts. The winners will be selected at random, and the prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
Removal of participants: Participants can be removed from the lucky draw if their responses are found to be dishonest or inaccurate. Our organization reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms and conditions or engages in any fraudulent activity.
Data privacy: Your personal information collected during the survey will be kept confidential and used only for research purposes. We will not share your information with any third party without your consent.
Collection and usage of personal information: By entering the Lucky Draw, you agree to the collection, retention, usage, and distribution of your personal information for the purpose of processing and contacting you about your Lucky Draw entry. We will handle your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations.
Lucky draw date and winner notification: The lucky draw will take place on December 1st, 2024, and the winners will be selected at random from all respondents that have entered the lucky draw until November 28, 2024, at 23:59. The winners will be notified via the email address provided during the survey by info@standard-insights.com. If a winner does not respond to the email notification within 14 days of the date of the email, we reserve the right to select another winner at random, and the previous winner will not be able to claim their reward.
Gift conditions: The lucky draw winners will be entitled to the following gifts:
First prize: The winner can choose one gift of their choice from the following options, all within a budget of USD 900:
If the chosen gift exceeds the budget of USD 900, the winner must bear the additional costs.
Second prize: The winner can choose one gift of their choice from the following options, all within a budget of USD 250:
If the chosen gift exceeds the budget of USD 250, the winner must bear the additional costs.
Third prize: An Amazon gift card worth USD 50.
The gifts suggested for each prize category are for reference only, and The Company reserves the right to change or substitute the actual gift(s) awarded to winners with another of equal or greater value at any time and for any reason, without prior notice. The actual list of gifts available to be selected by winners will be communicated to the winners directly.
In addition to the prizes mentioned, winners of all prize categories will have the option to donate the commercial value of their prize to a charity of their choice among a selection of charities provided by The Company, which includes but is not limited to charities focused on education, food, natural disasters, and more. If a winner chooses to donate their prize value to a charity, The Company will not provide any alternative prize or compensation to the winner.
Furthermore, The Company will donate the difference between the total value of the prizes and the actual commercial value of the gifts to a charity of its choice. The Company reserves the right to choose the charity and the amount donated. The winners of the Lucky Draw have no claim or right to this donation.
Gift redemption: The winners will be notified via the email address provided during the survey. The first prize winner must inform us of their preferred gift choice and provide us with the necessary details for us to purchase or book the chosen gift. The Amazon gift cards will be sent to the winners via email.
Gift substitution: Our organization reserves the right to substitute any gift with another of equal or greater value.
Delivery of prizes: The prizes will be delivered to the winners electronically, and no physical courier or mail will be required.
Participation in the Lucky Draw is entirely free. Standard Insights (The Method Consulting Limited) will never ask for payment or fees of any kind in relation to this Lucky Draw. If any person asks for payment or fees in relation to this Lucky Draw, please contact us immediately at info@standard-insights.com.
Personal information: Once selected as a winner, you will be required to provide us with your personal information, such as your full name, address, and a soft copy of your ID. This information will be used only for the purpose of distributing the rewards to the winners and will be kept confidential. By participating in the survey, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information for these purposes.
Marketing promotional activity: The winners may be required to participate in marketing promotional activity, such as providing a testimonial or feedback, for the purpose of promoting our organization and its products or services. By participating in the survey and accepting these terms and conditions, you acknowledge and agree to participate in any such marketing promotional activity if requested.
Limitation of liability: We accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Lucky Draw or accepting the prize. We further disclaim liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Lucky Draw. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude our liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation resulting from our negligence.
Modification or discontinuation of the Lucky Draw: We reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Lucky Draw with or without prior notice due to reasons outside our control, including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected, or actual fraud.
Force majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure to comply with our obligations where the failure is caused by something outside our reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation, or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
Modification of terms and conditions: Our organization reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, and any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
Governing law and jurisdiction: The Lucky Draw will be governed by the laws of Hong Kong, and entrants to the Lucky Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
